1. Reservations and Payments
1.1. Prepayment Requirement
Full prepayment is required to secure your reservation at Waterlily Cove Guesthouse. It is the guest's responsibility to ensure that all accounts are settled on time.
1.2. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and bank transfer. Payment details will be provided upon reservation confirmation.
1.3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made more than 7 days before the check-in date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the check-in date will forfeit the full prepayment amount.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 7 working days of receiving the cancellation request.

Guests booking through third-party platforms (e.g. Booking.com, LekkeSlaap) are subject to the cancellation and refund policies of those platforms.
2. Check-in and Check-out
2.1. Check-in Time
Standard check-in time is from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
2.2. Late Check-in

A late check-in fee of 50% of the nightly rate will be charged if the guest arrives within 2 hours after the standard check-in time (i.e., between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM).

If a guest arrives more than 2 hours after the standard check-in time (i.e., after 8:00 PM), the full price for one night will be charged as a late check-in fee.
2.3. Check-out Time
Standard check-out time is by 10:00 AM.
2.4. Late Check-out

A late check-out fee of 50% of the nightly rate will be charged if the guest checks out within 2 hours after the standard check-out time (i.e., by 12:00 PM).

If a guest checks out more than 2 hours after the standard check-out time (i.e., after 12:00 PM), the full price for one night will be charged as a late check-out fee.
3. Guest Responsibilities
3.1. Conduct
Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner towards other guests and staff. Any behavior deemed disruptive or harmful may result in the termination of the stay without a refund.
3.2. Damages
Guests will be held responsible for any damages to the property or its contents caused by negligence or misconduct. Charges for damages will be added to the guest's account.
3.3. Personal Belongings
Waterlily Cove Guesthouse is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings.
4. General Policies
4.1. Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the guesthouse. Designated smoking areas are available outside the premises.
4.2. Pet Policy
4.2.1. Small Dogs
Small dogs are welcome at Waterlily Cove Guesthouse for an additional fee.
4.2.2. Pet Owner Responsibilities
Pet owners are responsible for providing food, a bed, and cleaning up after their dogs. Any damages or excessive cleaning required due to pets will incur additional charges.
4.3. Noise Policy
To ensure a peaceful environment for all guests, quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
4.4. Privacy Policy
Guest information is collected for reservation and billing purposes only and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.
5. Family Package Deal Terms and Conditions
The family package deal is exclusively available for family bookings only. A family booking is defined as a reservation intended for family members.
5.1 Qualification
To qualify for the family package deal, guests must specify that it is a family booking in the Special Request box on the booking form at the time of making the reservation. Failure to include this may result in the standard rates being applied. The package includes Room 1 and Room 2, which must be booked together under this offer.

5.2 Booking Method
This deal is only applicable for bookings made directly through the guest house's website.
5.3 Booking Amendments
Any modifications to the booking must adhere to the guest house's general cancellation and modification policy. If the booking no longer qualifies as a family booking, the package deal may be revoked, and standard rates may apply.
5.4 Payment
The family package deal is non-transferable and cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts.
While every effort will be made to accommodate special requests, they are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
A deposit is required to secure the booking as per the guest house's standard payment policy.
6. Amendments
Waterlily Cove Guesthouse reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Guests will be notified of any significant changes that may affect their stay.
